Potash One Inc - Saskatchewan Mining Company
Potash One's portfolio of exploration permits cover a total of 515,000 acres in Saskatchewan's potash-rich basin, northwest of Regina, which presently supplies one-third of the world's demand for this essential food-growing nutrient. This includes the 100% owned 97,240 acre Legacy Project which has a NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Mineral Resource of 222 million tonnes of K2O and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 852 million tonnes of K2O.

The Legacy Project is adjacent to the world's largest producing potash solution mine (Mosaic's Belle Plaine) and is now in the feasibility stage of development. The fully financed Feasibility Study is expected to be completed in mid 2010 and will provide a comprehensive overview of all aspects of the project.

In June 2009, a team of internationally-respected consultants reported favorable results on the Legacy Project in the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), including the following projections:

Initial Mine Life

40 years

Annual Potash Production

2.5 million tonnes/year of KCL

Estimated Capital Cost

$1.877 billion USD

After-tax payback period

3.3 years

Estimated after-tax and royalty IRR

30.1%

Estimated Net Present Value (NPV) after tax (10% discount rate)

$4.47 billion USD

Management believes that the solution mining methodology offers a competitive edge by being scalable, with lower capex costs and quicker timeline to production than hard rock operations. Solution Mining is the use of water or hot water to dissolve a desired mineral from a geological ore zone into a solution through directional or vertical boreholes or abandoned underground mine workings. It is also less disruptive to the environment than conventional mining operations.

Potash One's early entry into the potash industry in 2005 has positioned shareholders to benefit from growing global demand for food, feed, biofuels, and the reduction of arable land---all fundamental trends reinforced by the increasing global wealth and population.

President and CEO Paul Matysek has assembled a world class solution mining operational team who have significant experience in building and operating solution mines. For more on the operational team please click here.
